Tellerette tower packing has its newest packing K-series, the 2K, the 3K, SO, S, S-II, L-II, and LL which offers a more improved design if compared to the original tellerette random packing with an increased open area and pressure drop now has been reduced. This is a good thing with lowered pressure drop for it offers high efficiency of scrubbing up to 700 fpm velocities.
For retrofitting purposes, with towers requiring higher removal efficiency, increased capacity, or both, this tellerette packing media would be ideal to use.
