Structured Packing is a range of specially designed materials, formed from corrugated sheets of wire gauze, perforated metal or plastic and woven into a honeycomb structure or structured packing column. It is used in absorption towers, waste gas treatment, and heat exchange.
We pride ourselves in the manufacture of state of the art structured packing columns. We have a variety of structured packing column designs to best suit your processing plant needs. For instance, we have ceramic structured packing, plastic structured packing and metal structured packing, among others.
We work to sustain our reputation as world-class structured packing manufacturers. Our products are specially designed with top-notch features to ensure efficiency, functionality and power optimization during any chemical process.
1.Plastic corrugated plate packing
Our plastic corrugated plate packing units fall under structured packing and are skillfully designed to be useful in the following manner.
They are best suited for extraction, absorption, heat exchange and water gas treatment among other applications
They are light and have a large surface area to facilitate optimization
The plastic corrugated plate packing offers an unmatched heat resistance scale
They promote a low-pressure drop for maximum efficiency
2.Ceramic structured packing
Ceramic structured packing is arguably our most optimal form of structured packing, in comparison to random packing. It is efficient as well as damage proof.
Our structured ceramic units focus on the concentration of as many corrugated sheets arranged in parallel fashion and a cylindrical structure
This arrangement offers incredibly high separating efficiency and other advantages such as low-pressure drop, minimum amplifying effect, and increased operating elasticity among other benefits
Our units consist are made of high-quality porcelain raw materials. This ensures that they have a unique adaptation to high pressure and overheating
3.Metal structured packing
Our metal structured packing is adapted to offer aggressive functionality in the following ways;
It is available in several variations of stainless steel and carbon steel
For optimal functionality, the metal units require three fundamental conditions which are; high gas load, low liquid load, and low-pressure drop
They are available in different specifications to suit a wide range of chemical processes. For instance, we have smooth and textured surfaces, perforated and imperforated, standard and high-performance models, among others
They are best used in amine scrubbers, testing towers, and chemical separation processes, to name a few
4.Metal gauze structured packing
Our metal gauze structured packing is our most widely used structured packing unit for the following reasons;
It consists of an array of metal wires such as stainless steel and copper woven into a metal gauze with silkscreen tablets
It offers high separating efficiency and low-pressure drop
Metal gauze structured packing is best used for distillation, pressure operation, absorption processes and vacuum distillation
5.Plastic corrugated gauze structured packing
Our structured packing manufacturers make the plastic corrugated gauze from high-quality PP and PA thread
We arrange the gauzes into cylinders, which can easily fit into manholes
This offers excellent corrosion resistance and efficient chemical stability
They thrive in temperatures, not above 80 degrees Celsius
They are ideal for absorption of liquids and gases
6.Intalox high capacity structures packing
Compared to most of our structured packaging of the same surface area, the Intalox high capacity packing offers superior efficiency and optimization for the following reasons;
It consists of highly accurate geometric features, through texture, reversed corrugation in each packaging layer
It thrives in high liquid rate, vacuum and atmospheric processes and high-pressure systems
It is ideal for aqueous distillation as its texture facilitates excellent surface wetting
It has good capacity and pressure drop characteristics
7.Packing for corrosive systems
In the manufacture of our structured packing systems, we acknowledge the fact that some of our units may suffer corrosion. For this reason, we have the gauze packing with corrosion resistance.
The packing consists of either carbon or other thermoplastics
It is easily wet-able, has excellent thermal stability and very low-temperature drop
Our non-corrosive gauze packing is ideal for distillation processes, gas cleaning columns and various absorbers
The polyhedral hollow ball packing has quite a number of unique features that make it very strong lightweight and durable. Some of its notable features include:-
Large surface area
Very high gas velocity
Lightweight.
Small wind resistance
Great hydrophilic energy
The large surface area is because it has been made by a margin too thin and strong spheres together to give a very large ball with a large surface area.
The material they are made of is very light making them lightweight. Polypropylene is generally known to be lightweight, and the technology used to make the polyhedral hollow ball packing makes it even more lightweight.
Its big wet surface area makes it capable of resisting small winds. They can barely take them off the surface thus making it very good in for ponds.
